| RIP Deacon Richard A. Zborowski, '80 - Monday, August 30, 2010RICHARD A. ZBOROWSKI
Richard A. Zborowski, age 87, of Downers Grove, IL, formerly of Brookfield, beloved husband of the late Marie A. Zborowski, nee Sokolowski; loving mother of Msgr. Richard M., Ronald (Nora), Robert (Lisa) Zborowski, Nadine (Mark) Wozniak and Nancy (Thom) De Vries; loving grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of two; brother of Rose Bogdan and the late Leonard Zborowski; God Father of Michael Trznadel; uncle of Walter, Jr., and John Trznadel. Richard was Chairperson of the Mathematics Department at Riverside-Brookfield High School for 33 years where he also taught mathematics. He was also a permanent Deacon for the Archdiocese in Chicago. Visitation Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, 9:30 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy, Palatine to St. Theresa Catholic Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Msgr. Richard M. Zborowski Officiating. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. RIP Deacon Thomas J. Solon, '72Thomas J. Solon, loving husband of Evelyn, nee Stoginski; beloved father of T. Jay, Thomas (Susan), Phyllis and Julianne (Bob) Schuberth; proud grandpa of Stephen, Daniel, Jonathan, Zosia, Mae and Tommy; dear brother of Kay (Ralph) Kleczewski, the late M. Gene (late John D.) Starr, and the late John D. (late Dolores) Solon; uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. CPS teacher for 38 years. Member of the first class of Deacons and served at St. Denis Parish. Visitation Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m. at St. Denis Church, 8301 S. St. Louis Ave., Chicago. Friday, family and friends will meet at St. Denis Church, Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Interment Private.
